Hi! My name is Max.
This is a picture of me when I was a tiny kitten. I was born outside and got separated from my mom when the guys with the lawn mowers came. Someone found me and took me to Orange County Animal Services, where they sent me to a foster home. That's where I am in this picture, hiding under a chair, ready to POUNCE on whoever comes by!
That picture was taken a couple of years ago, and now I'm a happy, healthy, grown-up cat who's been adopted and is living the good life. But there are alot of cats and dogs who don't have it as good as me. So my person and her friends do a big event every year called "Canines, Cats & Cabaret" to raise money to help homeless pets. It's lots of fun, and has singers, dancers, puppets, magic, comedy, and all sorts of cool stuff. They also ask for money here, because not everyone can come to the show.
All the money my human friends raise goes to two great organizations: Orange County Animal Services and The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. These shelters save thousands of homeless, abandoned, neglected and abused animals every year. Won't you help them?
Any amount you donate will make a difference! The funds pay for upgraded play yards for dogs, lots (and I mean THOUSANDS) of cat toys, supplies for volunteers, and even special food & formula for very young animals and senior pets.
