A few words from Jose & Yami

In late January 2022, Zoe started having a lot of stomach pain, which was unbearable to watch. Hence, we decided to take her to Lurie Children’s Memorial in Chicago, and she was diagnosed with Wilms Tumor.

They had to remove the kidney tumor and the left kidney, and she had to go through 6days of radiation and is now doing chemo treatments.

 

As a family, we are in a devastating situation and could use all the support in the world. This campaign will help ease the financial burden of hospital stays, chemotherapy, and all the crushing costs of health care copayments. While ensuring Zoe’s every need is taken of; her treatments will help restore and significantly improve her quality of life for some time.

 

Zoe is a 6-year old that is energetic, curious, kind and gives the best hugs. She loves to play with her lol dolls, sing and dance and play with her older brother Liam. Her absolute favorite thing is to be around her family, including her brother and cousins. She loves animals of all kinds. We try our best to keep her happy, comfortable and loved as a family during a tough time.
