Cancer sucks. Jason Rambo

Hi My name is Bonnie. I am starting this fundraiser because someone who is like a sister to me, her husband has been diagnosed with Cancer, among many other health issues. Unfortunately, he's beginning Chemo and Radiation and will not be able to work. If you know Jason and Julia, you know LOVE. Let's shower them with help, comfort, and love and this time of need. Here's their story: Jason and I were married April 16, 2022. December 9, 2022 Jason had a routine Colonoscopy, while in there the Dr tore his colon and Jason started going septic instantly. He wasn't breathing, his heart wasn't beating. The Dr never read his file to see that he has a plate in his neck, so for 45 minutes they continue to try to intubate him with no luck. The air medics showed up to transport to a different hospital. While there he had a heart attack ( blood started clotting) The Drs at Mercy South saved his life. April 10, 2024 he was supposed to be having hernia surgery on his stomach. After that he should have been able to start healing and building his strength to finally be able to go back to work. Last month February 2024 Jason was diagnosed with Laranix Cancer. Monday morning he will have his first Chemo and Radiation treatment. Those will go 5 days a week for 7-9 weeks. I am unable to work because my place is with my husband. His energy level is very low at times so I am handling everything myself. Savings are gone at this point. His treatments are over an hour each way, 5 days a week for nearly 2 months. Bills are piling back up and fuel costs are through the roof, food cost have gone up being he has to be on a specific diet. I just dug us out from the first health scare and now we are back at square one again. We have a 13 year old at home and she is homeschooled. This has been such a heavy load for our family. I am not one to typically ask for help, but it is desperately needed. Our landlord has been very decent to us but he still needs his rent money. I just don't know what else I can do. Anything you can do to help is appreciated greatly.
