09/15/2025UPDATE: I posted earlier that I have an appt on 8/4, but they called and changed it to 8/6. Then back to Chemo next week.
UPDATE: 7/10/2025
Went in at 6am to get my Port put in. Went well, but very sore. Should ease up in about a week. I have about a week off from appts, then go in for a couple of tests for my Radiation treatments. Then, between the 22nd and 28th, I will start my Chemo and Radiation treatments.
UPDATE. 7/7/2025
First 3 rounds of Chemo done. Meet a new Oncologist for my Radiation treatments 7/8. Follow up with my regular Oncologist on 7/9. On 7/10 I have a procedure for putting in a Port for my Chemo treatments at Riverside.
As many of my friends know. I came to take care of my parents in 2019.
On 6/13/25 I suffered a respiratory event that caused heart failure and landed me in the hospital. A mass was found deep in my chest, wrapped around both respiratory and pulmonary vessels. After a biopsy, it was determined the mass is Cancer. I am currently waiting for an oncologist appointment to determine the next course of action.
We, my Mom and I, were already behind and now it is worse. Already at 10k bill, just for one day at Riverside. Doesn't start to touch what is coming from VCU after a weeks stay. Or the future oncology bills and treatments.
On top of that, the a/c has been out for over 2 weeks now. After a local company came out, said it was fixed, billed us almost $1k, all for nothing!!! It is over 90° inside!!!
We, I am in desperate need of help. Please share this. Help out in any way you are able. If it is cash sent here, to cashapp, an A/C company willing to donate services to get us some relief.
For my locals, DHS Family, MHS Family, my Hokie Family, DMB Family.
We really need your help.
I will update as this journey continues. I am begging you all! Life depends on this!!!!
Thank you.
