This is my little sister, Jamie.

She was born on January 15, 1990. She is only thirty years old. She is kind, loving, funny, and curses like a high schooler trying to impress their friends in the quad (her nephew, Grayson, will inevitably have his first year of college tuition paid for with her cursing jar contributions alone).

She is also my best friend.

She also has breast cancer.

She completed her ultrasound technician program and passed three licensing exams before the pandemic shut down, resulting in her unemployment (a status she is not alone in, I know).

We are just beginning this journey and are unsure of what her out of pocket expenses will be.
