Can you please help Rochelle finish her studies?

Hi my name is a Rochelle

I never thought I would have to turn to this and if any one knows me, you would know that it’s a rarity to share my business or ask for help. It took a lot for me to even do this

Where do I start?

I had my children younger than most, so getting a good career in my younger years was not very realistic for me. As my children got older, I decided to persue my dream in working in the NHS and helping patients have a better quality of life.

I started off by going to college to do an access course and retake some GCSEs at 27 years old as I didn’t particularly do too well in school. I then managed to gain an place in university Bsc hons in operating department practice that trained me to work alongside anaesthetists and surgeons.

When the pandemic happened I was employed early whilst still studying and became a full time frontline worker to help out the NHS. I loved my time as an anaesthetic practitioner working through the pandemic, but I new that I wanted to go further and actually be a decision maker in patients care.

I decided to apply for a masters degree that allowed me to do this. Msc physician associate course, and I was so happy and excited to gain a place. It’s been a long road but I got the place just one step away from fulfilling my dream. I then worked as a vaccinator to help with finances. Since then I lost this job because less and less people were being vaccinated.

My financial situation seriously declined and I am now not able to pay the fees required to complete my course and I’m absolutely devastated. It’s my life long dream, I’ve not had the easiest life but I’ve worked so hard to get where I am, committed 5 years of my life to continuous studying with only 1 year left.

I don’t normally ask anyone for help financially but I really see no other option or I have to quit. My masters fee in total is £21,000 for which £5000 has already been paid. I’m hoping anyone could help my reach my dream. Even if you can’t donate please could you share I would really appreciate it.

I would be so sad if all my hard work went down the drain.
