Our son Jonathan Senter needs your support and financial help. He has just had a stent put in his chest to begin his chemotherapy treatments on Monday, September 10, 2018. 
Our son Jonathan Senter is a good man, a good son, a wonderful brother to his siblings, an excellent father of two college students and a hard working police officer for the DeKalb County Police Department in Georgia for 20 years. Jonathan has always been outgoing and helpful to others while always being respected by his family, friends, co-workers and community.
Unfortunately, Jonathan has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 testicular cancer. Last year a portion of his colon was removed when a mass was found during a colonoscopy and this year during a self exam he found a mass on his right testicle which was removed and the biopsy revealed the cancer.
The testing and diagnosing of the tumors that were removed has kept Jonathan out of work for 6 weeks on paid sick leave. Jonathan recently had to return back to work because he ran out of sick leave.
During the chemotherapy treatments doctors have suggested Jonathan will be unable to work due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. Jonathan will need a total of 21 treatments in three cycles. Each cycle will cost $12,000. The cost of the treatments, co-payments, prescriptions and lost wages are staggering and beyond our financial reach.
We are asking for a financial contribution from you to help Jonathan with the above expenses while he goes through one of the most difficult challenges of his life.
