On March 16th, 2017 my 4-year-old nephew, Cameron, was admitted to the ICU at a local children's hospital with End Stage Renal Failure. He has been enduring around-the-clock monitoring and testing. Cameron is now undergoing dialysis treatment on a daily basis until he is able to receive a kidney transplant.
Cameron will undergo a series of continual tests and treatments over the coming months until this can happen. His spririts are high, and we and have faith that everything will turn out well, but this is going to be a long road for my brother, sister-in-law and their young daughter as this beautiful family of four face this battle together.
Even with insurance, the medical bills are coming in faster than they can count, and I want to do everything we can to help.
