Camera Rental Industry Sustainability Website

Hey all, I have some news re the Rental Sustainability Project Website. https://www.rentalsustainability.tv/. This was set up in order to share best practice and help the Rental Industry to become more sustainable. We have met 6 times over the past 6 years and the movement has grown in ambition and members.

A website was set up this year which has some semblance of form and design now: https://www.rentalsustainability.tv/ but it is really slow and needs to be migrated to another server and have some design work done in order to complete it.

I have primed my website designers, who have offered a mates-rates deal to achieve this and their quote comes to a round £1,000. (This should have been £1,500)

Just like you all, this is a poor time of year to have any unnecessary costs, so I would like to know who will pitch in a few £hundred to finish it off and begin to use it?

The more of us volunteer, the lower the donation!

• I plan for this site to have all of our sustainability information, which is searchable.

• A list of all useful suppliers and links.

• Keep a record of all past meetings.

• Record a list of members.

• Allow people who sign up to automatically join this email mailing list.

• Members to be able to leave comments.

• Administrators to be assigned who can update the site.

Hopefully many of you can pitch in and let me know if you want to also be an admin to the site.
