Camellia Trail and Gardens

Homestead At Brookhaven Nurseries, in partnership with the Brookhaven Camellia Society, is in the Phase 1 planning and implementation stage for a camellia walking trail that winds through 3.5 acres of the pine grove as one enters the Homestead property. Carefully designed, the garden plan insures that, along with hundreds of camellias, something will be in bloom each season. Azaleas, Hosta lilies, benches, plaques, a waterfall stream,and a growing number of bulbs and perennials will complete the trail, providing interest throughout the year.  The trail will host special events, tours, demonstrations, educational talks, and will be open to the public.

We welcome tribute gifts to recognize someone special to you. We all have people and events of particular importance in our lives. If you would like to honor or remember a friend, family member, or event, we will recognize your generosity with a permanent sign or plaque in the trail.

Some examples are:
-a tribute gift to recognize a significant occasion or person
-birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christmas, baby, graduation, award, etc. to honor the memory of a friend or loved one.
