Fund for “K-9 Breeze”
The Jerry Dragosin Fraternal Order of Police Cambridge Lodge #10 (Ohio)http://www.odmp.org/officer/4290-lieutenant-jerry-e-dragosin will be RAISING FUNDS to purchase a new dual purpose PATROL DOG for the Cambridge Police Department. Funds raised will be for the purchase of the K-9 and the specific training associated to accommodate the requirements of Law enforcement. All proceeds will go directly to the purchase of the K9, training and equipment.
The new police K-9 will be named “Breeze” in honor of former Ohio Department of Corrections Training Officer, Cambridge Police Officer and S.W.A.T. Officer Donnie “Breeze” Buff who died in a tragic jeep accident in 2016. Buff was an animal lover, who not only supported local police and S.W.A.T. K9’s, but also donated many hours transporting homeless dogs to various foster homes. Donnie was a beloved and respected member of the Corrections and S.W.A.T. Community and the national law enforcement based Warthogs Motor Cycle Club.
The new K-9 Breeze will join his new handler Ptl. Jarod Eubanks
and train with the Police K-9 Association in Canton, Ohio. Eubanks was a former S.W.A.T. teammate with Don.
PK9A is a training association comprised of over forty k-9 teams based in eastern Ohio.
