Calvin Wellman The Easter Bowl 2017

Calvin selected for Easter Bowl 2017!  California - Indian Wells here we come.

Calvin Wellman is a 12 year old charismatic and dedicated competitor living a life rich in family, academics, training & competition.  Calvin is a student at Allendale Academy and manages his academic requirements & tournament travel demands with the help of his family, coaches and tutor.  He can be found most days at the Delray tennis center training under the guidance of his father/coach Brent Wellman and tennis director of the Delray Competitive Tennis Academy, Robert Wojcik.  Calvin has also spent time with many fine coaches, Steve Smith, Scott Williams and Frank Giampaolo during his young pathway.

 Calvin’s passion for the game of tennis began at a young age and his accomplishments along the way include impressive results at some of Florida’s most prestigious events as well as striking results and ranking for National level competition.    Calvin, the boy, the athlete and the competitor is known by many for his compelling charm, his joyful attitude, his fierce inner drive for fair and fun competition on and off the court.  Calvin is well rounded in his view of the game of tennis and is beginning to recognize the privilege and honor that comes with such prestigious recognition.   Thank you for considering how you might play a role in the growth and development of a young, hungry and talented young boy growing into a young man with dreams as big as life, abundantly rich in memories, accomplishments and growth.  One of Calvin’s favorite quotes sums it up, “to whom much is given, much is required.”
