Help Team California Reach USA Kayak Nationals

We’re proud to represent California at one of the most competitive kayak fishing events in the country — the USA Saltwater Kayak Fishing National Championship. This year’s championship will be held August 9th in Pompano Beach, Florida, running alongside Extreme Kayak Fishing’s Summer Slam 2. It brings together top anglers from across the nation, including current USA Team members, Wild Card invitees, Florida’s best, and teams like ours who’ve qualified to compete at the highest level.

But this tournament is more than just bragging rights — it’s also a qualifier for international competition. The top 4 finishers at Nationals will earn a coveted spot on the 2026 USA Team, representing our country in both the Pan American Championship and the World Championship. Anglers placing 5th-8th will secure an invite to the Pan American Championship as well. With limited spots available and world-class competition on the line, every cast counts.

Of course, getting our team to Florida requires substantial personal investment — flights, lodging, gear transport, tournament entry fees, and more. That’s where your support can make a real difference. Every donation helps offset these expenses and allows us to focus on preparing, competing, and representing California and the USA at the highest level of the sport.
