Cremation and expenses for Cagney Lynn Jaggard(Wawia)

Hi, my name is Justin jaggard, I am raising money to help with funeral costs and to help with other expenses for when my beautiful wife Cagney passes on.

This all started in December when Cagney had a slip and fall at work and broke her femur. She underwent life changing surgery to repair it. While in the hospital recovering she recieved a call from her doctor in regards to a biopsy she had done on what she was told was a salivary stone. Turns out it was malignant cancer. After being discharged and struggling at home with pain in her lower spine I convinced her to return to the emergency room. After a round of tests the dr told us that there is cancer all over her body, on her spine, on her hips, in her legs, on her liver and ribs. From that point on our world fell apart. Radiation and chemotherapy did nothing to slow this cancer down, very rare and aggressive, one in fifty million the dr said.

Basiloid salivary gland adenocarcinoma.

I write this on day 80 from the hospital. I haven't left her side, I've watch her go from talking and attempting to move, to non verbal and nearly comatose. My heart is shattered. She is my best and only friend

I just hope that when she looks down on me from heaven that she will be proud of me. We fought as hard as we could, we promised eachother we would. Just the other day I gathered all my remaining courage and I told her it was ok for her to break our promise and that it's ok to stop fighting.

I'm not sure how much longer she will hold on, I know our journey together in nearly at its end and I couldn't be more proud of the woman I married. We were married at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science center on March 21. Under the eyes of family and friends and the amazing nursing staff of 1A and 3B. They are all angels and I will remember them for the rest of my life.
