San Diego Dragon Boat Team

Dear friends, family and colleagues,
I am honored to be a member of the San Diego Dragon Boat Team competing in the 9th World Club Crew World Championship in Ravenna, Italy September 2-7, 2014.
I am writing to you because our team of 35 women and men needs financial support for airfare and travel expenses for 2 paddlers that do not have the financial means to travel to Ravenna. We need a full roster in order to be competitive. We need to raise $3000 by August.

All of my team mates and I are over the age of 40, some are teachers, others health professionals, attorneys, self employed or retired, who use Dragon Boat paddling as means to enjoy a better quality of life. We are an inspiring group of athletes from all over California and we are thrilled to represent the US in an international event of this caliber.
