Holiday food drive

2020 has been a tough year for us all, but especially for those facing financial hardships due to the economic fallout of COVID-19. This holiday season, as families are struggling to put gifts under the tree I would like to make sure putting food on their table is one less thing for them to worry about. 

I would like to raise money to make a donation of non-perishable foods to a hard-hit county in South Jersey.  All of the money raised will be used for food which I will shop for and deliver the morning of Christmas-Eve to ensure families have food for the holiday.

I plan to donate to the Community Foodbankof New Jersey in Egg Harbor Township since they serve the area hardest hit by the pandemic. Over the summer they reported that their demand was up by more than 50% and donations were down. You can read more about food insecurity in the Atlantic County region here.
