Our Adoption

Dear friends,
As you all know, I have been longing to be a mom my entire life. It’s what I was born to be. If I had nothing else in life, all I wanted was a child of my own. I waited patiently for 30+ years to find the perfect man to start a family with. He was well worth the wait. However, my biological clock broke down a little too soon and we are unable to conceive. We had been in the process of becoming foster/adoptive parents through the state, but God brought us an angel!! A friend of mine found out that she’s pregnant but is unable to care for the baby so she has decided to carry the baby for us to adopt it after birth! We are beyond words excited that someone would carry a child for us! And now I am being given the chance to be the mother I have always longed to be! My heart is over flowing! Since initially writing this post we found out our baby is a girl! We have named her Arya Lauren. Arya, after a strong female character on Game of Thrones and Lauren after my mother Laura and sister Jen that both sadly lost their battles with Cancer.

Now, we need to hire an adoption lawyer amongst some other things to be able to make it official which will require funds that we don’t have.
We are humbly asking for help from our friends to cover the adoption attorney costs. Any little bit will help and will be more than appreciated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us become the parents of this beautiful blessing!!
