Food Relief

We are a small husband and wife run cafe called Hunters Roots in the Melbourne CBD that has been greatly affected by the COVID pandemic. Taking this opportunity to stay positive and reach out to support those less fortunate than ourselves, we are asking you to lend a helping hand.
Help us support those in our local communities affected by the pandemic and lockdown restrictions and find themselves without work/with greatly reduced hours, without government assistance, and/or without access to a warm sustainable meal. 
At the moment we are funding this project out of our own pockets. For the first scheduled lunch service on Friday 7th August we are cooking and providing 30 free lunches of a hot soup and sandwich to international students in Melbourne. 
Any donations are welcome and all proceeds will go towards the food provided. 
With your generous support we hope this can become an ongoing initiative and grow to reach out to even more people in need of a hearty meal.
