Our Family

I know this pandemic has taken everyone by surprise. It’s a scary moment in time for all of us. Loosing my job has been tough of course financially but the hardest part is doing something for 2.5 years with your child under the same roof as you do something amazing for the children in your community is even harder. My heart beat for that school! I miss my job, I miss the parents and the children. School was our home for us here! It’s not easy to put your pride aside and ask for help as a women, as a mom and as a friend. Being a parent has been challenging and school not starting for a couple of more months has left me at home with Phelix and not able
to work. I received a letter from the unemployment office that there is still 80,000 people waiting for unemployment. Wow! Will they even get to me, how long is this going to take all ran through my mind and then being scared of not being able to keep the roof over our head. Everything was thrown away when the job I did and built for awhile was given away. No explanation, no thank you for all that you’ve done, no I’m sorry but I like things this way! Nothing. Absolutely nothing! I feel that job was shaping me as I was learning to be a mom and having a community around me that supported that. I felt totally lost. We all want the best for our children and for them not to see the trouble In the world that we have deal with as parents. My wish is just to make it through the next couple of months. If you don’t ask the answer is always no so I’m asking for help. May this crazy time end for all
of us and may we be joined again in love and community. Thank you! Xo
