Help transport Byron Shire youth to Climate Strike

We are in the midst of an ecological crisis that will affect every living being on earth.  Climate change, is the biggest issue to ever affect humanity, and we are witnessing the distressing effects right now. The youth of today are frightened but we are rising  and are imploring people to take direct action.  To join us in this movement, that will define the fate of our world. 

Our future is tenuous and uncertain and it lies in the hands of people who have consistently betrayed our trust. It lies in the hands of a government who is willing to sell our future to  international mining corporations in exchange for financial gain.

So it is time to reclaim what is ours. Reclaim what is owed to us.  We can not sit idly by and watch another government wreak irreversible damage on the environment. We must take our future into our own hands. Begin with individual climate action within our own community.   

We are raising money to help us pay for buses to get students from Mullumbimby and surrounding areas to be able to attend the climate strike on the 20th of September. This minimises the carbon footprint of each student travelling to the strike. It also provides a safe way to travel for the students. As well as the hiring of equipment, all funds will go towards the strike. 

We are beyond grateful, for the consistent support we have received from our community, it is in moments like this when we begin to feel hopeful, that a safe future is possible.
