Byrd Family Treatment Expenses
Donation protected
Tylor Byrd is fighting his second battle with cancer, he is only 19 years old. He was a fire cadet for the City Of Ione Fire Department while he was in high school. He was also the quarterback for the high school football team and the homecoming king. Upon graduation, Tylor became a part-time firefighter for the City Of Ione. He was scheduled to enlist in the US Army. A physical exam revealed testicular cancer which changed Tylor's dream of going into the Army.
Tylor underwent surgery and radiation. He changed career paths and went to Lassen College pursuing a firefighter career. He spent this past summer fighting fire for Cal Pines Fire Department and was offered a job as a full-time fire fighter.
Tylor came home for a check up which revealed cancer in his left lung. His cancer metastasized, and now Tylor will be going through chemotherapy for three months at 21 day intervals. Each round of chemo will start with a 5 day stay in the hospital followed by 16 days at home receiving medication to fight this cancer. We are raising fund to help with the family's expenses during his treatment. Thank you to all that love and care so much for Tylor and his family.
