Help family make a new start

I have been humbled beyond belief in the last year. I am asking my friends and family for help because my family is at risk, and we need to keep our apartment while I rebuild our life, step by step. I was a stay at home mom when suddenly our life took an unexpected turn and I had to ask the children’s father to leave to keep the kids safe. I did what I had to do to keep the kids safe, but I was not prepared for the abrupt and traumatic change to our lives. I was walking around town with the kids with heavy bags, doing whatever I needed to do to keep them happy and healthy as a single mom with 100 percent custody. I do without so my kids can have things, and I have fought many battles to keep them safe. Up until a month ago, I had no vehicle and i finally got one but , it needs work. What am I asking for is help, any help you can give would mean the world to us. We simply cannot face an eviction right now through the holidays..we live humbly and need to raise money to stay in our home so I can build our lives from scratch which will be no small feat. The reason I am asking for help is I desperately need a helping hand after what this family has been through, and my former spouse has lost his job so I am in crisis and trying to be strong for my family. I now know I will never judge someone who finds themselves in this situation ...it is scary and sometimes mothers have to do what they have to to keep their kids safe. If we get rent covered and slowly attack each step, making the car safe for us, etc....maybe just maybe we will have a shot at a better 2018. Thank you so much for reading.
