Liam's Road to Recovery

Hello Family and Friends. We are starting a Go Fund Me campaign for Liam Sandvig and his wonderful parents Billy and Carolyn. Liam is a beautiful and vivacious little boy with a gorgeous head of curly red hair.  He is a bright ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. 

As you may know, Liam was diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatoblastoma) on Monday October 21st.  You can go to his Caring Bridge page to read the full story.  On Wednesday October 23rd, he had surgery to remove the tumor. The tumor and a portion of the liver, gallbladder, appendix and a section of the small bowel all needed to be removed.  Liam will now need to have a port placed and undergo chemotherapy after he recovers from his surgery.

Billy and Carolyn have not left his side since he was admitted to the hospital.  As he recovers and receives chemotherapy, they will be unable to work.  Carolyn is also giving birth to their sweet baby girl in mid November. 

The Sandvig’s are so thankful for all of the support and prayers they have received during this difficult time.  So many of you have asked how you can help.  As you can imagine, Billy and Carolyn will incur significant expenses during Liam’s road to recovery.  Any donations to the Sandvigs during Liam’s recovery are greatly appreciated.
