Our friend, Linda Baley, is in need our help and support. She is a music teacher and who enjoys teaching and mentoring her students. She has dedicated much of her life to serving others. As some of you may know, she has been struggling with several very serious health issues for years now. Currently her doctors are trying to get her severe case of Crohn’s into remission. This has caused extra problems with the wounds she has been dealing with since 2015. The combination of wounds and Crohn’s together have been life threatening three times and required four surgeries. During most of the process, she has spent a lot of time unable to sit for more than a short periods without intense pain and has had to lay on her side most of the time. She lives with constant pain. She is currently in the middle of a debilitating Crohn’s flair. Due to the Crohn’s and her need to be on immunosuppressive drugs during Covid, it’s been difficult for her to leave her home or to work enough to support herself.

Recently, she had another surgery that she thought would simply remove drains they were using for wound care. She thought she would be finally free of daily excruciating pain, but this was not the case. It turned out the damage was more extensive because of the wounds she had, necessitating major reconstructive surgery. The surgeon determined she would require many months of recovery time (aggravated by other health conditions) and need to avoid sitting even longer. Along with all these health issues, her medical bills began to pile up due to her need to recuperate and not being able to work. She is faced with not only doctor bills but medical bills from surgeries, tests, and medical supplies.

The Crohn’s and other diseases she struggles with are seriously aggravated by stress. It would be wonderful to help alleviate as much of her stress as possible while she is recuperating.
