Project Healthy Living, The Mandate

Increasingly, budget cuts have affected the
response to HIV and other health challenges on a
national level. Obtaining funding to support our
programmatic activities continues to be a
challenge and directly affects the level of impact
we are able to have. Your sponsorship would
support costs associated with Project Healthy
Living to continue to offer our focal activities,
which have proven to show positive impact in a
variety of areas, including significant increase in
condom usage, a stronger sense of community
among participants in the program, and
increased linkages between black gay men and
the medical community. Project Healthy Living is
an all-volunteer organization, so 100% of your
donations will go towards programming. Our
fiscal agent affiliation with DC CARE, a non-profit,
501(c)3 organization, means that your donations
are tax-deductible.
