BWES Holiday Care Package Project Fundraising

The Brown Women's Empowerment Sisterhood is honored to have the opportunity to serve our local community this holiday season by putting together care packages for women in need. This December, BWES is collecting in-kind donations and is fundraising to purchase crucial items to be distributed to unhoused women at La Maison Jacqueline de la Rue des Femmes. These items include, but are not limited to: face and body lotions, deodorant, razors, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, socks, cleansing wipes, and hair accessories.

This fundraiser is the monetary component of our holiday fundraising campaign, for those who prefer to donate online rather than in-kind. Please note that ALL proceeds collected through this fundraising campaign will be put towards the purchase of supplies and personal items that correspond to the needs of our beneficiary, La Rue des Femmes. BWES is committed to transparency in its financial operations. An expenses report detailing how these funds are spent will be released within three weeks of the end of the fundraiser.
