We are proud to announce the Armando Vazquez Scholarship for Hair Design.

Armando was a much respected and talented hair designer and entrepreneur. During his 40-year career, he established a thriving salon/spa in Lansing, Illinois, and developed a faithful following of distinguished clients. He was passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge with others and assisted countless individuals get their start in beauty services. Armando passed away on July 6, 2014.

Armando’s family established the scholarship to honor his memory and help give high school students from Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas the opportunity to attend cosmetology school. Scholarship funds go towards helping students pay for tuition fees associated with obtaining a cosmetology license.
