Hello hello...

We are the Inglorious Pasterds. We record a podcast. We talk about news, spirituality and other random things. We talk about progressive christianity quite a bit. We reach a decent size audience. We've had downloads in all 50 states and over 60 countries. People are connecting with our show.

Anyway while we've been mildly successful podcasting, we currently don't personally make any money off of it.

As the show has grown we've slowly upgraded our production. This is in part largely due to the amazing people who support us on a monthly basis via patreon.com/pasterdspodcast

Since we have upgraded some of our hardware (soundboard, mics, etc.) our software (recording/mixing program) is requiring more RAM (memory). We've even upgraded our RAM to max capacity on our current computer.

A few times, while recording, our computer has crashed, causing us to lose 10-30 minutes of recording.

Last week we had a LIVE event. People from all over the country drove to be there (some as far as 12.5 hours). We initially had issues getting the computer set up to record. FINALLY it worked right before we started.

We had an amazing evening. The computer stopped a couple times during recording but we were able to get it going shortly after.

The next morning we went to listen to the recording and found that the audio files were corrupt...

We want to continue to record the podcast and continue improving the sound quality, making the show a better experience for listeners.

So this money will go towards getting a new computer with enough RAM and capability to record our show. Any money left over will go towards updating the software we use or the equipment we have.
