Help Keith Campbell Breathe Easier

The man I look up to as a father, the one who helped to shape me into the woman I am today after my own father abandoned me, my Uncle Keith, is very sick. He has to rely on oxygen 24 hours a day simply to live and he is getting worse. Unfortunately, nearly two years of medical testing (multiple CT scans, MRIs, pulmonary function tests) has not determined what caused his illness in the first place.

After a preliminary consultation, the doctors at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN have asked to see and diagnose my uncle in person.   However, his medical insurance provider will not pay for it as they consider it a ‘second opinion’ so we are asking for help to raise the money to cover the consult, testing, travel, and the lodging for the two weeks he will need to be in Rochester to get some answers.

Lodging and airfare is for two, as he is unable to travel without help, a portable oxygen concentrator, and the Mayo Clinic testing will cost approximately $48,000.00.  He is currently on disability and unable to work, so we are relying on the goodwill of others to make this trip a possibility.

Please help. This is the man who gave me ‘Magic Pony Rides’ on his back before bed. He helped put my toys together on Christmas mornings, he walked me down the aisle at my wedding. He has inspired my life in more ways that I can count. I cannot imagine my daughter growing up without knowing this incredible man. We need to find out what is wrong, before his time runs out.
