Burntwood to Paris in 7 days!

We are a small swimming club in Burntwood and we are up for a challenge so we have decided as a club to swim the equivalent distance from Burntwood to Paris in just 7 days starting on 15th July 2024 and ending on 22nd July 2024 ready for the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024. This is 20840 lengths of Burntwood leisure centre swimming baths we have approximately 145 swimmers who will be undertaking this challenge to raise money for our club for much needed equipment.

1 dive block costs £2200 and we currently have 1 of these we require 5 more, lane ropes cost just over £800 each and again ours are tired and worn we require 5 of these. As a club the swimmers decided they would like to help raise this money as they are the ones that will benefit from the equipment purchased.

Burntwood swimming club is also giving back to the local community as part of this fundraising event, the club will donate 20% of money raised to the fantastic charity which is close to all our hearts and the local Burntwood community "The Stephen Sutton foundation"

Any support from the local community will be greatly appreciated however small the donations it all helps .

Monday 6:15pm till 8:45pm

Wednesday 6:15pm till 8:45pm

Thursday 7:30pm till 9:00pm (Oak park leisure centre)

Sunday 2:30pm till 5:00pm.
