Burial Fund for William Randolph (Ridley)
Spende geschützt
William (Ridley) Randolph who was loved by many, suddenly departed his life on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. Will, as he was affectionately known, never hesitated to give of himself. Not only would he give his last, but he would he would also seek additional assistance to ensure those in need, needed less. He would even open his home shared with his mother to those in need of overnight shelter.
As a further testament to his giving spirit, Will spent his 40th birthday celebration utilizing his own resources to raise funds for his beloved Duke Ellington School of the Arts, an institute he loved and adored. Will was a prominent member of many communities and organizations throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area including alma maters Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Bowie State University, where he served three terms as SGA President and acquired his bachelors and masters degrees, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and Us Helping Us, People Into Living, just to name a few.
Two years ago, William resigned from his full-time job where he fought endlessly for the fight to eradicate HIV/AIDS among the minority LGBTQ community in the Washington Metropolitan Area, to become a
full-time caregiver for his mother.
In this courageous and selfless move, Will worked fourteen hours daily caring for her. Will was also forced to fund his own Healthcare and Life Insurance. Unfortunately, William's life insurance policy, although financial current, isn't yet payable because it hadn't yet matured. It is with this disparity that we come with this heartfelt request seeking assistance from those who knew and loved William Ridley-Randolph.
We thank you in advance for any assistance in our time of need!
