Building a Bridge for LF Open Lands Shaw Prairie

Hello everyone! My name is Dimiter Kramer, and I am a current Life Scout in Lake Forest Boy Scout Troop 46. For my project, I've decided to tear out an old and unsafe bridge currently in use on the Lake Forest Open Lands Shaw Prarie nature preserve and construct a new bridge that will make it easier for pedestrians and employees of LFOLA to cross safely. The bridge that is being replaced has a lot of very worrying signs of decay and is slippery all year round (due to ice in the winter and due to moss in the summer). Funds would primarily be used to purchase necessary materials and to rent tools. I aim to construct a bridge that is safer for pedestrians and service vehicles to use with the help of my community and my fellow scouts in Troop 46.
