Build the Sturgeon Bay Wind Phone

2nd update: Friends! When I started this project I had no idea what to expect and I am so grateful to everyone for their support. As of this post, we are sitting at $1,800! That will certainly cover the phone construction and landscaping in the area. And, it gets us VERY close to the funds needed to add a bench. So, close in fact that I have given the city the green light to go ahead and order it. The inscription on the plaque will read "In Loving Memory of Everyone We Wish We Could Call". We are still on track to get the phone installed by late July, or early August. The bench likely won't arrive until sometime this fall. I will keep everyone updated as events warrant. Thanks again!!!

Edit to update: We already hit our first goal of $500! I can't thank everyone enough!!! That should be enough to cover the cost of building the phone. If possible, we'd love to add a bench and those are quoted at $1,700. Let's see if we can make it!

Hi folks, I'm looking to raise funds to help construct and install a "Wind Phone" here in Sturgeon Bay. This is a tool for healing and processing grief after the loss of a loved one. It's a beautifully simple way to help get the pent-up emotion and grief out of one's system. Recently, the Sturgeon Bay Parks and Rec committee approved the installation of one in Sunset Park. I'm here looking for a little help in covering some of the funds to design and build the phone, as well as some small landscaping of the area. I know there are many worthy causes out there to donate to, but ask that you take a few moments to look over the info and if you are so inclined, please throw us a few extra bucks to help support the mental health of our community. I would greatly appreciate it.
