Build Laura a Porch

Dear Friends,
As many of you know Laura Fehl was ill at the end of the summer. Thankfully she is recovering and is back at Temple. However, she is not able to do everything that she was taking on before she got sick.
What you may not know is that Laura bought a fixer-upper and has been doing all of the renovations and repairs herself. (I know—she is amazing). With all of the water we had over the summer, her front porch rotted and is now unsafe. A bunch of us are concerned that she and Sarah (her daughter who lives with her and is expecting a baby) cannot use her front entrance safely. Laura is not able to renovate the porch herself.
So we have decided to step up and do a Go-Fund-Me campaign to raise money for the materials and then recruit volunteers over a couple of weeks this fall to build it for her.
