Build An Orphanage Quran School This Ramadan

Salam, I'm @imranrxhman. Some of you may know me off of my online platforms (Instagram, TT)

Last Ramadan we raised just over $10,000 to help aid two family projects in Bangladesh within the last ten nights of Ramadan.

I didn't even expect to hit the $10k mark with a following of my size but by the grace of Allah, we managed to pass our goal in the time being.

With that $10k, we were able to go from this:

That's a pretty solid improvement, right? These folks can now pray their Ramadan in an actual building.

So this year, just before Ramadan, I asked my parents (who run all this charity work) to send me details for a project they needed help with most.

They told me my father's village back home has a Quran School that's been sitting unfinished for months due to a lack of sponsors.

The school currently houses 49 girls and 40 boys in insufficient living conditions (majority orphans)

The students live, sleep, eat, and conduct their classes in these buildings. Majority of their days are spent crammed up in these one-room buildings.

A proper building would be built with cement/bricks. Tin sheets are always used in remote villages like here as it's the cheapest method to facilitate, but lacks insulation for the cold/hot seasons.

The $100k mark would completely transform all of this into a working facility with the necessary equipment and supplies:
