Build a Mosque that builds scholars in Mauritania

Assalamualaikum all,
Having studied in Mauritania under my Shaykh for a while, it pained me to see the state of the place in which he teaches.
- Unpleasant smell throughout
- Incredibly run down
- Cockroaches, lizards, mice running around
- Windows ripped up
- Many students crammed into a small space
- Uncomfortable
- Water & Electricity cut out frequently (every day)
What makes things worse is that the current place is just a rented house. Every 2 months or so, the owner contacts the Shaykh and tells him he will increase the rent due to demand in that area. We are now in a position where things are becoming unbearable and a permanent solution is needed.

- Buy a sizeable land in a prime location in Nouakchott
- Build a Masjid in which the 5 daily prayers are prayed (including Jummah)
- Build a study space connected to the Masjid for the students
- Build a living space for the Shaykh & his family & his international students
This project isn't just a solution to the current problem, but it will also completely transform the community in that area and be a source of incredible Sadaqah Jariyah for all that contribute. Why? Who is Shaykh Baha?
Shaykh Baha Al-Majlisi is a renowned Mauritanian Islamic scholar that comes from the well-known Majlisi family of scholars. He shares the same teacher as Shaykh Deddew. He successfully became a scholar at just 18-20 years old and has been teaching ever since. For a while, he has been teaching students that come to him from around the world and builds them into Dawah carriers, leaders and Shyookh themselves who then go back to their communities and bring about goodness there.
He currently has students in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, USA, Saudi, Algeria, Mauritania, Senegal, and many more countries. By contributing to this, you're contributing towards improving communities around the world as the people he is building go on to build their communities once they're done studying with him.
