Build a community center in the slum !

Hi,

My name is Sarah and I'm fundraising for the construction of a community center in one of the most populated urban slums in Lilongwe the capital city of Malawi.

We would like to build a center that has a playground, library with a study room, ECD, youth skills training center, community organic garden and refuse collection point for the manufacture of eco briquettes.

The communities where we work are often unsafe and unconducive environments for children and young people to learn, play and thrive. Our center nurtures children and provides a unique safe space right in their community where children and young people are safe from harm. At the one-stop center we partner with the community to devise and demonstrate several solutions to the challenges that the most vulnerable people in the community overcome.
