Build a bridge to allow students to go to school
Ouaganet is a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization that operates in rural communities of Burkina Faso, a poor country in W. Africa. The organization has helped the communities with clean water wells, goats to empower women, educational supplies to the youth, etc.
Today, the rural community of Napone in Burkina Faso is facing a big issue due to a river that is dividing the village and thus making going to school from each side of the river very difficult during the raining seasons. It also makes it impossible for ambulances to transport the sick and women in labor to hospitals and to clinics as well.
Overall, the river is hindering the health, education, economy and free movement of the people in the village during rainy seasons.
A solution consists of building a bridge that will allow ambulances to cross the river and the kids to walk to school as well as the general population to engage in their daily activities in the village without being bothered by the river.
I am asking you to join me in making a difference. The collected funds will hire a civil engineering company to lead the effort of building the bridge. The population will assist by helping to bring in bricks and sands to help defray the total cost of the project. Thank you for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
