The City of Buffalo is hoping to build a dog park at Gary Mattson Park -- hopefully yet this Fall of 2018.
Dog parks are not only good, fun exercise for pet, but a great opportunity for socializing for dog owners.

Gary Mattson Park is a nice, spacious property located on beautiful Buffalo Lake.  An existing  shelter, trees, benches, tables, and parking area make for a great dog park location.  The plan includes a separate fenced area for small dogs.  The lake side will not be fenced due to a fairly steep hillside, but there will be a natural trail to the lake for swimming or retrieving.

Outside of the fencing, there would be little expense for the park. We'd love to have it funded by those passionate about their pets and Community.
Dogs will be required to have a City license tag to enjoy the park, with portions of the license fees to pay for future improvements and ongoing maintenance.  There are no other fees to use the park.

This will be a great addition to the City of Buffalo's park system and another example of our great Community pride and partnerships!
