Budokan Dojo

In these global unprecedented times the Budokan Martial Arts Academy has done all that it can to stay open and remain a beacon of Martial Arts study for all that attend. However due to State imposed capacity guidelines vs facility monthly overhead, it has become an unmanageable task to operate at our current facility. Therefore we will be moving to a New location, and looking to renovate it as soon as possible. With hopes of opening in December 2020 and fully running by early 2021.  The Budokan has been in existence since 2007 with its first location in Valley Stream, New York. A special place, which was outgrown due to the love and joy of all who attended. In Lynbrook at our current location, we were on the same verge of success and growth. The unforeseen Covid 19 impacted the Martial Arts industry heavily.  We consider self defense, enhancing and saving lives essential. So it was painful when New York shut us down in March/April.  We deeply appreciate any and all help in financial assistance, and all your support thus far. What will make our Dojo beautiful and strong is the same that has always done so.. you. It is your loyalty and consistency that will take us into 2021, the light at the end of the 2020 turmoil. Just as the phoenix, we will rise from the ashes towards glory. The best is still yet to come and your donations will help tremendously. Our new location is 7 minutes away. It will be highly well kept and cleaned thoroughly so all can train in a safe and healthy environment which the spirit of Budo brings forward. We need to however generate funds to make this possible.

Our plan is to ensure that all funds raised goes towards the renovations of the new location, including changing rooms build out, ceiling ductwork, mats, mirror transportation and installment, moving, equipment, storage and past debt incurred during the Cover crisis.
