Buck Needs Your Help to Overcome Heartworms

Hi, my name is Kelby and I am a veterinary technician in Tallahassee, Florida. I am often referred to as an animal magnet as strays and wayward furry friends seem to cross my path often. I am so very blessed to receive a small discount at the clinic I work for, which has enabled me to properly treat and vaccinate the animals I find in order to find them loving homes.

I pulled a dog from a backyard breeder situation a year ago (Millie) and decided to adopt her. Recently, a woman reached out saying she had Millie's brother (Buck) and had to move overseas on short notice. Buck had nowhere to go. I called a friend who was able to bring him in as a foster so I could do my usual vet and vaccinate to rehome. But then one of the worst test results came back... heartworm positive.

Heartworms are expensive and SO PREVENTABLE, but Buck is young. He's amazing with other dogs, big or small. He is extremely respectful of all the cats he's met and has even tried playing with them! He LOVES kids. If there's a child around, Buck's there and in heaven! This is a dog that deserves the very best care he can receive and I aim to give it to him.
