Bubba’s Big Pectus Excavatum Surgery!
Spende geschützt
This is Bubba. Bubba was found in a small Oregon town with 17 other kittens his age amongst three momma cats. The other 16 kittens and 3 moms remain at the original rescue that pulled them, but Bubba had to be pulled, because he is a very special guy who has some extra needs.
Bubba has pectus excavatum, also known as tunnel chest. Basically, the breastbone caves in on other bones and organs as the kitten ages. It is a medical condition that Bubba was born with!
On the bright side, it is treatable! He is able to have corrective surgery to fix it, and he was transferred to us because we think that our amazing network of supporters can help us fund his care. It is an expensive surgery, at around 4500 USD, but it is a lifesaving one. His original rescue did not have the support to get his care covered, but they knew that euthanasia was not where his story should end.
So now, Bubba is here, and we are going to try to get his surgery funded in the next month! Join us on this journey, because Bubba deserves a fighting shot! He’s playful, sweet, and ready to take the world by storm, so let’s come together and help him do just that!
