Bubba Williams Medical Bills and Income Loss

After battling Covid-19 for several days, my brother, Bubba Williams ending up in the hospital 1400 miles away from home.

When we heard his voice on Saturday and him telling us he just had no energy we rushed to figure out a way to contact the paramedics in another state.  Thankfully the wrong numbers we called quickly gave us the right number and then the paramedics were on the way.  

Once he arrived at the hospital his oxygen saturation level was down to 66% (the normal level is 97 to 100%).  The hospital tells us they work furiously for 4 hours to get him hooked up to required machines.

Saturday night, he was placed in a medical inducted coma, intubation and placed on his stomach.  Our parents and my husband also departed Saturday night and drove straight through (24 hours) to be by his side.  Luckily they arrived early enough and all 3 were able to see him. 

After 16 hours the hospital moved him to his back and sent him for a CT Scan where it was found to have blood clots in each lung.  Thankfully the hospital had already placed him on blood thinners as preparation.

As I write this 48 hours later, he is still in a medically inducted coma, intubated and on blood thinners.

He will probably not be happy that I have created this gofundme for him

......but he has a long road ahead of him.  

He has already been out of work a week and  does not have Short term disability so no income coming in (but the bills don't stop) and medical expense are stacking up.
