Buba's cancer battle

Two years ago, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had six months of chemo therapy fallowed by a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. She was in remission for two years. She went on her routine 6 month check up with her oncologist and as usual she had to do blood work to make sure everything was good unfortunately her results weren't as good as we were hoping. The oncologist immediately referred her for a ct scan once again the results were not good so they wanted to do a pet scan just for conformation. And the news was devastating. Intense activity was identified, skeletal metastases as noted on the recent ct involving the lower thoracic and lumber spine, pelvis and proximal femur. THIS IS DEVASTATING NEWS there are no words to describe how bad this makes me feel. Her oncologist wants her to start treatment immediately he wants her to start FASLODEX INJECTIONS AND ZOMEDA WHICH IS INFUSION THERAPY. My mother has no health insurgence and i have tried every organization possible and they are all refusing to help. The faslodex injections are $2500 per injection and for the first 6 weeks she needs to get them every 2 weeks and then once a month for a year or longer it depends to how she responds to the treatment. The zomeda is $150 and is once a month and that will go on for about a year or longer just like the injections. This is the part that breaks my heart that nether me or my brother are financially able to even come close to cover this expense and we are at a loss of what to do next SO WE TURNING TO YOU FAMILY AND FRIENDS ONCE AGAIN FOR HELP.
