Sam & Miranda Don't Want to be Homeless

So Miranda recently had to take two months of medical leave from her job. There's a chance this could be covered by short-term disability insurance, but the insurance company has done a truly impressive job of stalling the process and we still don't know if the claim is going to be approved or denied. It's been an exciting time for us, financially. I've worked odd jobs, we've borrowed from family who couldn't really afford it, and now, just as things are about to get back to normal, we've run out of options.
Rent is $1085, and we still won't have a full paycheck by then. We need all the help we can get to make that goal. If we get funded any more than that, we'll probably blow the rest on frivolous things like food, medication, and cat litter.
tl;dr We're in trouble. Temporary trouble, but trouble nonetheless. If you can throw even a dollar or two our way, we'd appreciate it so much. Thank you all.
