BSU Presents The Atchison Giving Tree

This fundraiser is organized by the Black Student Union of Benedictine College.

As we find ourselves helping students advance in their endeavors on campus, we feel that it is just as important to play a role in our community as well. This holiday season we are organizing the Atchison Giving Tree, a project that is all about giving back to the community, "for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Corinthians 9:7)

During the holiday season, some families may find themselves needing to prioritize necessity spending over that of gift shopping. We are aiming to be able to lift the financial burden of holiday spending off some of the families that find themselves in this situation.

The goal of the Atchison Giving Tree is to raise enough monetary and gift donations to sponsor 5 families in the greater Atchison area. With the money raised through this campaign we will be able to provide presents and stocking stuffers for the children and parents of these families.
