Our dad, Bryan, has had some serious medical problems recently.
Between the multiple amputations on his foot and heart attack, he has had 6 surgeries in the last two months. He has weekly appointments with 2 different doctors. He is seeing specialists and getting his health back on track.
He has been out of work since the beginning of April. He has used all vacation time and sick days. He is on disability from work but this only covers about half of his usual pay.
We have been getting behind on his usual bills and the new bills and medication costs keep piling up.
If you know my dad, you know he would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He raised 4 girls by himself! He has taken in many strays along the way. He has helped two of my friends get into rehab and have given them a place to live and food to eat. He opened his home to a dying man and helped him with his medical care until he passed away last year. He has cooked vegan food for teens whose parents didn’t support them, teaching them nutrition along the way. He has helped everyone who has ever asked him for help.
He has helped countless people improve their lives. He is the kindest person and would do anything to help the people around him. He is known as “patch” at his nursing job after Patch Adams.
It’s time that we all band together and give him some help he needs now. Please give what you can, pray for him, send good vibes, write him a letter, ANYTHING you can do to help would be much appreciated!
