Brushy Creek Skatepark - Logan's Eagle Project

I am a Life Scout with Troop 158 in Cedar Park, Texas. I am working on my Eagle Rank and have reached my final step in achieving this high honor. My final task is an Eagles Scout Project that benefits my community. The project requires me to plan a project, receive approval from my troop, the city of Cedar Park (All approved) as well as recruit volunteers, acquire materials, and oversee the project is completed safely and satisfactorily.

My project is to install seating at the Brushy Creek Skatepark in Cedar Park, Texas. I am an avid skateboarder and frequent skatepark where I have developed a community of skateboarding friends. The skatepark is lacking seating for those enjoying the park and for spectators. I am looking forward to working with others to improve the skatepark and for others to enjoy the new seating.

My plan is to start the project Late-October/Early November of this year. In order to make my project a reality I am once again asking for your financial support of family and friends. I have estimated that the remaining cost of the project will be about $1500. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
