Bruce Baraw Memorial

As many of you know Bruce passed just a few short weeks ago suddenly and very unexpectedly. Bruce and Dee shared 25 years of marriage, partnership, love, ministry and service.
Bruce was a tiny, yet super large presence in San Diego county and beyond in advocacy and action. He had Osteogenesis Imperfecta and was involved in conferences and awareness, which is also something he had in common with Dee. As active member of the United Methodist Church Bruce was a champion for Camping, Reconciling Ministries and Strength for the Journey. He has been active in numerous San Diego United Methodist Churches including: La Mesa FUMC, PBUMC and Water's Edge. During 2020 he enjoyed the ability to watch numerous Sunday services and being able to participate in worship virtually.
The Baraw house has been an open door policy for short and long term stays, a hug, a joke or a shared meal. They shared a love for Disneyland with each other and Disney friends from church and beyond.
In this time of transition and grief my hope is that these funds help support Dee and the memory of Bruce. Please give as you are able.
