Refresh Brookside Neighborhood Sign Area

Looks like the entry sign area needs some love.

Update 5/7/23

Its been 4 years since we all pitched in January 2019, and replaced the neighborhood entry sign and redid the landscaping. Thank you to the neighbors who donated, and kept it mowed over the last 4 years.

It is starting to look like it needs some attention again, and I think it is reasonable to pay someone to mow it, put down some pine straw, and spray the ivy and kudzu.

There is no HOA in Brookside, so the way we get stuff done is we neighbors pass the hat and all chip in. I crunched some numbers on it below:

This budget should cover us for another 4 years:

$1000= Cost for professional mower for 4 years

$50 = Vegetation killer

$50 = GoFundMe fees

$100 = 20 bales of pine straw

$1200 - Total

If we collect more than the goal, it will go to more years worth of mowing.
